Aboutcollectingglass.org (ACG) is a non-profit educational instrument. Our forums and educational features are geared to preserving the past by documentation and increasing public awareness of glass as a collectible hobby.
As a Grand Opening member of this site users can enjoy Volume 1 of About Collecting Glass a study guide of the essentials, with over 300 identified images of glass objects with retail values, and access to all features of the Glass Collector’s Club (GCC) forums. Volume 1 can be downloaded and viewed on-site. Members who do not wish to receive Volume 1 are charged 3.99 per month for full forum access.
Members can maintain a gallery of uploaded glass images, get assistance with I.D.s and values, learn more with downloadable PDFs of catalogs, articles, etc., ask questions and get answers, submit applicable research and meet like-minded members.
Members maintain a personal account where they can track GCC forum communications and manage subscriptions.
As a non-profit, members will engage in voting 4-times per year determining quarterly donation recipients. ACG will determine the amount to donate, and the members will choose to whom the donation will be sent. Running a non-profit is not free, there are many expenses. The donation amount will be determined quarterly according to post-expense availability.
ACG opened in July of 2026. As time goes by many features are slated to be added. Volumes 2,3, and 4 of About Collecting Glass are in the planning stages. Another feature to come will be an outlet for members to buy and sell to the public. Research categories will expand.
